FAKE BOMB THREAT OF "UKRAINA" PALACE
To the attention of the public!
Information on the bomb threat of the "Ukraina" National Palace of Arts during the performance of "Vechirnii Kvartal" held on March 13, 2019, which has been actively "disseminated" by interested persons in social networks and the media, is not true!
During the day, on request of "Studiia Kvartal 95" concert organizers, anti-explosive measures were carried out by specialists of the Explosion Management Department of the National Police in Kyiv city.

According to the results of the inspection, which was finished at 18:00, explosive devices and explosives were not detected by specialists. The Verification Certificate on the results of the inspection was drawn up.

Approximately at 19:30, an incoming call by an anonymous person to the Palace's economic service phone with the information about the bomb threat of the building was made. The person, who called, left no information about himself and hung up the phone. This information was forwarded to the competent authorities.
A regular operational investigation team consisting of 3 employees of the National Police of the Pechersk district urgently arrived; they read the Anti-explosive Measures Act and received a note from the Events’ Organizer on the refusal to evacuate people from the building.

At 22:00 the concert still continued. All the services of the "Ukraina" Palace were working in regular mode.
With due respect,

Directorate of "Ukraina" National Palace of Arts.
